Work of organization: We are reaching out to the unfortunates in Indonesia through orphanage, formal and vocational school, street ministry, mission trips, youth outreaches, caterings, youth handcraft, event organization, day care for children, confectionary, soap production, etc.

Kinds of internships: In school teaching all kinds of subjects, that range is from nursery-senior high school. Orphanage taking care of babies- senior high students near Jakarta. Special need clinic (autism)in Semarang. Where we have english speaking staff to assist and supervise other kinds of internships are:
1. Our shelter home on the streets of Jakarta (available for max. 2 students)

2. Other training programs could be scheduled occasionally according to their ability besides their daily ministry and teaching position. Even if the primary internship is with one of the three areas above there is a possibility for exposure to our broader ministry with the "least of the least".

Desirable skills: Love of children, flexible, teaching experience. They provide a basic orientation for interns, so that they are prepared for their ministry.

Number of internships: 4-5 in Bekasi, more in other places.

Location of internships: Various addresses in middle Java.

Duration of internships: Preferably at least 1 school year from mid-June to mid-June.But since the activities are running through the year it is not a problem whether interns choose to stay 3 or 6 months. Only for school we prefer to have them at least 6 months.

Costs: Meals US$3-6 per day.($500 for 3 months).

Accommodation: We could find a shared housing near the school. Housing is provided.

Insurance: No.

Medical coverage: No. Our organization is covering medical costs at the maximum of US$100 per school year for reimbursing costs for check ups or getting medicines and a maximum of 2xUS$500 of hospitalizing costs 3rd class. If costs exceed this, then they would have to be borne 50% by the individual. They will cover the above mentioned medical costs, the same as staff, but if it is possible they prefer for the students to find their own medical coverage, since they are not covering the medical costs using any insurance company, but from the organization expenses.

Volunteering: Yes.In orphanages, shelter homes, teaching school subjects, preaching, preparing food, feeding, cleaning up the place, etc.In youth handy crafts house: joining the production or teaching some new skills, preaching, preparing food, feeding, cleaning up the place, etc. In soap production helping in all areas.
