<< Wycliffe Grad Elected 10th Bishop of Algoma

The Rev. Dr. Stephen Andrews, Wycliffe alumnus ('84) and President of Thorneloe University, an Anglican federated college of Laurentian University in Sudbury, ON, was elected 10th Bishop of Algoma in Sault Ste. Marie on Thursday, October 2nd, 2008.

Bishop (Elect) Andrews was elected prolocutor of General Synod of the Anglican Church of Canada in June 2007, and is the former Dean of Saskatchewan. Last May he was the featured homilist at Wycliffe's Refresh! Conference.
