	Prof. Marion Taylor

Marion Taylor, Professor of Old Testament at Wycliffe College, has been invited to
participate in a research colloquium entitled "Departing for modernity vs. clinging to the outdated:  Women and the bible (and women's biblical hermeneutics) in the context of the long 19th century."

The colloquium takes place at the Catholic Theological Faculty,Karl Franzens University, Graz, Austria, from 4-6 December, 2008.

Professor Taylor will be giving a paper on Women and the Higher Criticism in the nineteenth century.

The papers will form contributions to the overall exegetic and cultural-historical  encyclopaedia The Bible and Women to be published later.
