Professor Donaldson Awarded 2009 Frank W. Beare Award

Wycliffe College congratulates Professor Terry Donaldson as his book Judaism and the Gentiles: Jewish Patterns of Universalism (to 135CE) (Waco, TS: Baylor University Press, 2007) was awarded the 2009 Frank W. Beare Award during the Canadian Society of Biblical Studies Annual Meeting, held on May 24 as part of the Society's Annual Meeting in Ottawa, May 24-26, 2009.
This award is offered annually by the Canadian Sociaty of Biblical Studies in recognition of an outstanding book in the areas of Christian Origins, Post-Biblical Judaism and/or Graeco-Roman Religions written by a member of the CSBS and published during the previous two years. The Award is determined by a panel of judges drawn from members of the Society with a publishing record in at least one of the areas covered by the Award.
