Dr. Tom Power, adjunct professor of church history and theological librarian, was awarded a fellowship by the American Society of Eighteenth-Century Studies (ACECS). The fellowship allowed Dr. Power to consult the eighteenth-century holdings in the special collections of McMaster University Library, for his topic:
"By Force and Without Her Consent: Abductions in pre-Famine Ireland."
