St. John's Cathedral was founded in 1849 and is the oldest Anglican Church in the Far East. It has an active ministry serving 1300 communicants on Sundays as well as 3 mission daughter churches. Through a variety of nurturing and outreach programs, such as an HIV education centre, domestic helper and migrant worker ministries and a professional counselling centre, St. John's ministers to the community in Hong Kong. Matthias will conclude his 22 years of ministry in the Diocese of Toronto and commence his deanship in the summer of 2012. Your prayers are appreciated as he and his family embark on this new journey in their service for Christ.
