About the Book - "An Anglican Explores the Faith"
Written with an orthodox understanding of the Christian Faith, this book seeks to strike a balance between a devotion to the fundamentals of the Faith as received in the Anglican tradition, and, on the other hand, to the need of honest inquiry leading to a deeper understanding so that one may make the Faith relevant to a post-modern society. The "Via Media" is held up to be the crucial context in which this balance can be maintained and celebrated in all its beauty and depth of insight. The author explores the important issues of the Faith, such as living in one's God-given image, embracing one's mortality and the wonder of grace, and discovering a practical means of manifesting the Faith through a lifestyle given over to God. It ends with a consideration of how one can have the conviction of being loved even through the pall of evil and suffering.
