A New One Year Program to Challenge, Encourage and Equip Experienced Leaders in the Church While They Continue in Full Time Ministry
Wednesday April 9th, 2014
Wycliffe College is pleased to announce a new cohort-based graduate program to help leaders in the church engage with and learn from some of the most recent work in the areas of missional leadership and formation. This program will be both theologically rigorous and thoroughly practical in equipping experienced clergy with training and skill development for the following tasks: forming Christians in a post-Christendom context, cultivating missional practices in stressed parishes, strengthening preaching and worship for mission, and leading in times of change.
Participants will take four courses together as a cohort. Beginning with a week long intensive at the end of August they will continue with a six week course beginning at the end of September (one day a week). At the end of January they will begin a second six week course (one day a week) with the final week long intensive at the beginning of June. Each participant will then have the opportunity to explore in greater depth what they have been learning through the program by choosing to do a short thesis or a project.
