Join us on September 26th for our first VIRTUAL Women’s Breakfast with Prof. Marion Taylor and special guest Prof. Kristin Kobes Du Mez from Calvin University. "Jesus and John Wayne: Masculinity, Militarism, and American Evangelicalism​" will be the theme of this year's event. 

In addition, you will meet women currently studying at Wycliffe College, and hear more about their personal stories of calling as well as their journey of spiritual formation.

This virtual event is free, but registration is required.

 

 

Prof. Marion Taylor

Prof. Marion Taylor, Professor of Old Testament is a graduate of Yale University, and has taught at Wycliffe College since 1986.In 2012, she published the award winning Handbook of Women Biblical Interpreters: A Historical and Biographical Guide. Marion has recently completed a commentary on Ruth and Esther, to be published in Zondervan’s Story of God Series:

Prof. Kristin Kobes Du Mez

Professor Kristin Kobes Du Mez (PhD, University of Notre Dame) is a professor of History and Gender Studies at Calvin University. Her research focuses on the intersection of gender, religion, and politics. She has written for the Washington Post, Christianity Today, Religion & Politics, and has been interviewed on NPR, CTV, CBC, CNN, the New York Times, and the Economist.
