"The Visible Shape of Christ's Life in Us" - Sermon Series by Wycliffe Faculty in Fall 2018
Wycliffe Faculty Sermons - Fall 2018
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” So says Paul in Galatians 5:22. This is not just a laundry list of the qualities of being a good person. It is the specific shape of Christ’s sacrificial life taking root in us as he draws us into his own life and ministry for and in this broken and sinful world. What exactly are these? In Christ and thus in us? How do they contrast to the works of the flesh? How do we see them reflected in the life of Israel and the Church? The Wycliffe faculty will preach on these nine fruits of the Spirit and questions such as these on each of the twelve Thursday mornings in Founders' Chapel.
Location: Founders' Chapel, Wycliffe College, 5 Hoskin Ave, Toronto
Dates: Every Thursday morning, from September 13 to December 6, 2018 (Except October 25 during reading week)
Time: 8:30 - 9 a.m.
