Contact Julie with questions about Wycliffe's annual Indigenous Leadership Week. A new initiative begun in 2015, this week-long summer event gathers Indigenous bishops, teachers, and leaders to teach and learn alongside Wycliffe professors, staff and students.
With degrees in Divinity, Arts and Business, Julie brings a professional background in community development, cross-cultural communication & advocacy, teaching, business, administration and church leadership. Her passion for Indigenous work grew while spending five years leading a parish with her husband and fellow Wycliffe grad, in Northern Saskatchewan.
Julie works at Wycliffe and also as an Honorary Assistant Priest in the Diocese of Toronto. Julie lives in Toronto with her husband, daughter, and a spunky Miniature Schnauzer. In her spare time, Julie enjoys visiting the zoo, attending Blue Jays games, traveling the world, drinking good coffee, wearing tie-dye, writing to 150+ penpals worldwide, and reading mystery stories - especially those starring female Anglican priest detectives.
