Lane is currently adjunct faculty at Wycliffe College, University of Toronto, and Senior Pastor of Oak Park Church of Christ in Calgary, AB. After completing Alberta Bible College, Lane moved across the country to Wycliffe and to what seemed like another world in an Anglican Seminary. Turns out, the fit was perfect! After completing his Master’s program, Lane and his wife Chantelle accepted a role as the Wycliffe College Residence Don – a five-year ministry they loved and continued in as Lane completed his doctoral work. Solely because of his homiletical love of three-point sermons that are arranged alliteratively his research and teaching interests congregate primarily around the areas of ecclesiology, evangelicalism, and ecumenism. Lane loves analyzing detailed policy, filling out course reviews, editing learning outcomes and would never use sarcasm in an important bio. Mostly Lane is concerned about laughing more, learning from his three children, and sharing the gospel the best he can in whatever way he can with all the love that he can muster.
