What do Kensington Market, the Royal Ontario Museum, and free lunches have in common?

That’s easy. They’re all part of Wycliffe’s Orientation Week. Orientation for Fall 2017 begins in just six days! It’s required for new students, and it’s a no-brainer for current students. Get ready to meet, greet, eat, and ring in the new academic year.

Academic orientation kicks off Wednesday (Sept. 6), with a college-wide opening assembly followed by food and great company. Check out the fresh landscaping around Wycliffe, and relax by the new fountain in the inner courtyard. A Eucharist will follow, then lunch, a clubs carnival, and a wine and cheese reception for the academic graduate degree students.

The fun starts earlier in the week, with a market/museum trip and a games night on Tuesday. Stick around for Thursday, when you can join in a hymn sing, a college-wide BBQ, a neighbourhood tour, and a pub night. The week ends with a bang on Friday when the buses leave for the Fall Retreat.

And don’t forget the free lunches. Wycliffe’s signature $3 lunches—entrée plus soup OR salad—will be free every day of Orientation Week (starting Tuesday) to all students, residents, and staff. Lunch times vary, so keep an eye on the schedule.

Don’t miss what’s mandatory, and don’t miss out on what’s fun!
