Step #1: Select your program

Master of Divinity (MDiv) – For those seeking training for ministry: theological, personal, and vocational preparation to lead in a variety of church, chaplaincy, parachurch, and academic settings.

Master of Theological Studies (MTS) – For those who want to deepen the theological foundations of their faith, or gain a general introduction to Christian scholarship. Provides a theological foundation for life, ministry, or vocational practice. Can be used to prepare for doctoral study.

Master of Theological Studies in Development (MTSD) – For development practitioners, community leaders, street-level innovators, social entrepreneurs, justice and peace advocates, NGO managers, and faith-based urban visionaries. An MTS program with a specialization in community development.

MDiv and MTS Combined – For those seeking to serve in a combination of pastoral ministry and development settings. A course of study combining two degrees into one program.

Doctor of Ministry (DMin) – For people currently in ministry with 3 to 5 years of ministry experience, who hold an MDiv degree. Develops a critical and comprehensive understanding of the theory and practice of ministry.

Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MA Theological Studies) – For those seeking a one-year, first or second master’s degree in theology. Fosters graduate-level competence in theological study.

Master of Theology (ThM) – For those on track to pursue doctoral studies or advanced ministry. An individually-focused research degree, designed to be completed in one year of full-time or up to six years of part-time study. Must have (as prerequisites) a bachelor’s degree (normally in arts) and a first master’s degree.

Doctor of Philosophy in Theological Studies (PhD) – For those wanting to carry out innovative research. Graduates qualify to teach theological (and related) subjects in universities, liberal arts colleges, and theological schools, and for leadership positions in the church and related organizations or for academically enhanced ministerial practice.

Certificate in Anglican Studies (CAS) – For students preparing for ministry or ordination in the Anglican Church. Teaches the essentials of Anglicanism.

Certificate in Missional Leadership and Formation – For leaders in the church (typically with an MDiv degree and at least 3 years of ministry experience) who want to respond effectively to the challenges faced by the church today. A cohort-based program that fosters skills in discerning mission, understanding culture, cultivating formation, and facilitating change.

Diploma in Christian Studies (DipCS) – For lay people who want to increase their knowledge of the Christian faith, or develop skills in practical ministry. A flexible program, which can be completed entirely online, that provides an intermediate grounding in Christian teaching and ministry.
