Peter Mason 7th Principal (1985-1992)

Biographical Sketch
Peter Mason obtained his BA and MA from McGill University. He received his LTh and BD from the Montreal Diocesan College. Mason got his Doctor of Ministry from the Princeton Theological College. He was rector at St Paul’s Church in Halifax. In 1985 Mason and his wife Carmen came to Wycliffe College so Mason could take the reins as principal. Under Mason the Long Range Planning Committee was reinstated. He was also instrumental in starting up the Institute of Theology. Mason left Wycliffe College when he was elected the Bishop of Ontario in 1992.
