My calling from God is to bring His people to a deeper relationship with Him and to join the mission that God has called His people to. The courses that I have taken at Wycliffe have helped equip me with knowledge for this task. By learning Church practices across history and the world, I can be more confident in my ministry at the local church or even in creating something new to serve the purpose in the future.
I appreciate that Wycliffe teaches pioneering ministries and church planting. I believe God is raising up churches in a new mode of existence to fulfill His great commission in this day and age, churches that will need innovation and creativity.
I am originally from Hong Kong and, before beginning my MDiv, I worked as a Bible teacher in a primary school in Hong Kong. One of the reasons I chose Wycliffe was because its students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and denominations. I love interacting with my classmates during the tutorials. It excites me that I can always gain new insights and knowledge from them.
