Basic Degree Programs

The Basic Degree programs are introductory master’s level degrees or diplomas for those seeking either an introduction to graduate theological study, professional ministry, or preparation for advanced studies. These are second-entry graduate programs and applicants require a minimum of a three year undergraduate degree, (BA. or equivalent but no prior theological training) Basic Degree applicants apply directly to Wycliffe College online.

Wycliffe College offers two Basic Degree Programs with a different area of focus for each, 
Master of Divinity and Master of Divinity for Pioneer Ministries (M.Div.)
Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.)
Master of Theological Studies in Development (M.T.S. Dev)

These degree programs are awarded conjointly by Wycliffe College and the University of Toronto.

and three graduate level diploma programs:
Diploma in Christian Studies (Dip.C.S.)
Certificate in Anglican Studies (Cert.A.S.)
Certificate in Missional Leadership and Formation (M.L.F.)

These non-degree programs are awarded by Wycliffe College and the U of T is contracted to provide tuition billing and registration services to the college as part of the Toronto School of Theology.
