Nominations invited for children’s ministry award:
Church leaders are invited to nominate any volunteer Sunday School teacher or children’s minister demonstrating exceptional performance in children’s ministry for the Centre for Excellence in Christian Education’s Sladen Award. Recipients are selected for their overall achievements. The Award will be presented on the day of the Toronto Children's Ministry Conference.
Here are the criteria for selection:
- Volunteers regularly to the Church school.
- Exemplifies a love of children and for learning and spiritual growth.
- Knows the Christian faith
- Engages with scripture from the point of view of a child.
- Models the teachings of Christ
- Demonstrates an exceptional ability in working with others.
- Has had a positive impact upon the children and the church.
- Cultivates in children a living biblical faith.
Describe this person’s ministry and why you think they should receive this award. The application should include:
- Name and contact information of nominator and nominee
- Parish, name, address and contact info
Application will be accepted until November 1st, 2016.
