Michael Haykin

Senior Research Fellow

Prof. Michael A.G. Haykin, FRHistS, serves as chair and professor of Church History at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and is the director of the Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies, which operates under the auspices of Southern Seminary. Prof. Haykin has a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Toronto (1974), a M.Rel. from Wycliffe College, the University of Toronto (1977), and a Th.D. in Church History from the University of Toronto and Wycliffe College (1982). He is the author of a number of books on Christianity in late antiquity and British and Irish Dissent in the long eighteenth century. He and his wife, Alison, live in Dundas, Ontario, and are members of West Highland Baptist Church, Hamilton, Ontario.
