Jeffrey Hocking

Jeffrey serves the Wycliffe community by assisting with the registrarial details of degree programs and courses offered by the college. He enjoys helping ensure that the academic administration of the institution flows smoothly so that students and faculty can focus on meeting their educational goals in the pursuit of their vocational calling.

Jeffrey and his wife Angie (Director of Outreach Services at Church of the Redeemer and Wycliffe MTSD student) have lived in Toronto for over ten years and recently welcomed a daughter into their family. Jeffrey has a BA in Philosophy from Cornerstone University and an MA in Philosophy from the Institute for Christian Studies where he wrote a thesis on human autonomy and responsibility in the open theism of Clark Pinnock. He is currently finishing a PhD at ICS focused on religious language in the theopoetics of the Brazilian theologian Rubem Alves.
